The Pussycat Dolls call out sexist double standards and vow to be 'sexy at 90' as they pose for striking shoot

The Pussycat dolls turned up the warmth in newly released images for a performance of their latest single React.

Speaking at the shoot, Ashley said men are liberal to dance provocatively in stage shows like Magic Mike but when The Pussycat Dolls placed on their performances, internet trolls ask them as 'prostitutes'.

She said: 'Someone told me that within the stage of me like a lady that I shouldn’t be sexy and I’m like "f**k off". Magic Mike comes on and everybody loves it but women appear the hay and we’re called prostitutes.

'I want to embrace the actual fact that I’m a woman getting to return out with my girls as that sometimes doesn't happen

'We do not have anything to prove we just want to travel out there and have some fun again. I might wish to be sexy when I’m like 90!'

Nicole Scherzinger agreed with Ashley's comments and said the Dolls promote a message of female empowerment.

She said: 'The sexiness comes from a neighborhood of confidence. The intention behind everything we do is to inspire other women, but ultimately anyone who resonates with what we do.

'There are some things incredibly powerful about owning your space and being unapologetically you. Female empowerment isn’t criticizing and tearing each other down, it's encouraging females to hunt out themselves and own it. It’s about the intention against the attention .'

The group donned black skintight outfits as they posed within the new shoot by fashion photographer and director Rankin, who is becoming to be releasing a live performance of the Dolls on Friday.

The group was because of continuing their reunion tour this summer but have had to postpone the dates because of COVID-19.

Nicole revealed she is trying to remain positive about the delay and said it gives the ladies longer to perfect the show.

She said: 'I’m trying to look at the positive during this example, and ultimately it means we've slightly longer to put together something amazing to need out on the road and show the earth.

'I’m just praying that the earth is turned into the advice and guidelines from the earth Health Organisations and governments to form sure that this virus claims as few lives as possible and allows us to celebrate life again soon.'

The group went their separate ways in 2010 before reuniting at the highest of last year with Nicole insisting their dynamic is best than ever.

She said: 'Honestly, better than ever before. The time we’ve had apart to return into our own and grow has allowed us to return back to this with a shifted perspective and we’re all so excited to enjoy this next phase of our lives.'

Rankin will release a live video session of The Pussycat Dolls performing React on Friday.

Ashley announced late last month the group's upcoming tour had been postponed, admitting she was 'sad' and 'gutted' they couldn't hit the road within the summer.

She wrote alongside: 'Alright Doll lovers.. Following the foremost recent government advice, we are very sad to announce that we are postponing our upcoming UK and Ireland tour.

'We're gutted to not be ready to perform next month, but the security and health of our fans are literally our No.1 priority.

'We anticipate seeing you all at the rescheduled dates in October. In the meantime please stay safe and appearance after yourselves. Love Pussycat Dolls.'

React was released in February and received rave reviews from music critics with the video having over 20million views on YouTube at the time of writing.
